Yesterday morning quite a few students told me they didn’t have their library books to return. When we got to the end of the day and were packing our bags for home, some of the kindies found their library books actually in their lockers! If this is the case, your child may have the same books they had last week. Book exchange day is Wednesday so if your child didn’t exchange books yesterday, they will need to wait until next week.
Turkey Project
Hi Families! Yesterday your child came home with a home project in their folder. Your child’s assignment is to, with your help, or the help of other family members, disguise the paper turkey to save it from being eaten for Thanksgiving. If you aren’t sure how to go about that, or are looking for some inspiration, feel free to google search “Turkey in disguise” for some ideas. Pinterest is full of them! Disguised turkeys are due back to school on October 13 and students will be given an opportunity to show their work to the classmates and tell a bit about what they did to keep their turkey safe.
