Here is some important information for you to put on your calendar for the month of September:
September 12- Photo Day- Individual Student photos
September 13- Back to School BBQ 5:30-7:30 (see other blog post for more information)
September 18- Kindie students begin full days at school
September 29- Orange Shirt Day (Students can wear casual bottoms and orange shirts)
Thank you all for coming and spending some time with your children in Kindergarten this morning. It was so lovely to see you all. I am looking forward to a great year of learning with you. I took your photos with your children this morning so that you can be here with them in the classroom even when you aren’t able to stay. I hope that having your photos on the bulletin board will help ease some anxieties that may arise about coming tomorrow and staying without you. Please help me help you by being prepared to say goodbye to your child at the door to the classroom and let your child know that you have confidence in them, that they will have a wonderful time at school.
Just a reminder that from tomorrow until Sept 15 we will be dismissing at noon. Our school day begins at 8:35. Please send a snack and water bottle along with your child for school tomorrow. We will be having recess snack but not lunch. Lunches will not be required until after the 15th of September.
