Locker Clean Out

Hi Parents!

As Spring Break approaches, I would like to encourage you to take a minute or two to ensure your child’s locker is clean and that there is no food left in there over the 2 week holiday.  I would also suggest that your child’s pillow goes home on Friday so it can be washed and be fresh and clean when they return in April.

Silent Auction Baskets

On Saturday, April 27th we are having our 40th Anniversary Gala.  During this gala we will be having a silent auction.  In this auction, each grade will be putting together a themed basket to be bid on.  Our grade is building a basket with a BEACH THEME.  We are asking each student to donate $5 towards this basket.  Money can be brought to the classroom teacher or paid at the office.  Please send money in by Friday, March 15th.   Thank you for supporting our silent auction.

Seanna’s Favorite Things!

Hi everyone!

I am hoping to be able to hand over a wonderful package full of blessings to Seanna next Monday, March 11 so that we can send our amazing high school helper off to Thailand feeling blessed, supported and covered in prayer.  I have a list of a few of her favorite things so if you feel inclined to send one of these things along to school or to send some money for her to take with her to Thailand, that would be much appreciated.  Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far!  I think we will bless her socks off!

Seanna loves the following:

-books

-Pringles chips (Sour cream and onion, ketchup)

-mint gum

-Fuzzy Peaches

-Kit Kats, Coffee Crisp

-Skittles

and her favorite color is royal blue

Thanks everyone!  Please forgive any spelling mistakes- my eyes are still recovering and I am finding reading particularly difficult.

For Monday March 4

Please help your child find something from home that they can make move (either by pushing or pulling – no batteries!)  and have your child bring it to school for Monday March 4.  The students will be doing a science lesson I have planned for Mrs. Wilms to do with the students.
