One last blog post for you:

Thank you so much to all of you for the notes of thanks, words of appreciation, hugs and gifts.  I can’t believe the year is done.  I pray you all have a wonderful summer!

You can now officially unsubscribe from the kindergarten blog!

Tomorrow is our last Welcome Wednesday. Just a reminder that we would love to have you come and read with us at drop off in the morning, and that we have a little something extra happening that you don’t want to miss.

We will also be cleaning out our lockers and making sure we take all our belongings home. Please consider sending along an extra bag so your kiddo can put their pillow, gym shoes etc in it at the end of the day.

Tomorrow is our field trip to Go Bananas. Everyone coming will need socks.

Please also send along a lunch and water bottle. We are hoping to be able to go the park for lunch, but this will depend on the weather. Please make sure food does not need to be warmed up.

Just an FYI- today is our last pizza day for this school year.  There is no pizza next week (which is actually okay for us as we are away on our year end field trip).

Our Teddy Bear Picnic is coming up on Wednesday June 14.  Please have your child bring a favorite teddy (or other stuffy).  Nothing too large please- your child should be able to carry it easily.

We will be going to the garden to have a picnic with our teddies at lunch time so please also make sure your child’s lunch doesn’t require the microwave that day.

Not only is Wednesday June 21 our last Welcome Wednesday, it’s our last day of Kindergarten together.  We would love to have as many of you as possible come in and read with us.

I have also been working on a little something else to show you all, in honor of our year of learning together.  We hope you can join us!

(We may run a little longer than 10-15 minutes)

For story workshop this Thursday we will be creating some special settings for our characters.  If you happen to have a shoe box you are willing to part with, please send it to school before Thursday.
