Some of you may have noticed that the new Highroad Academy Website is up and running! You may be wondering where to look for the list of classroom blogs. GOOD NEWS! It’s still there! On the homepage at the top left corner it says My Highroad. If you click on that you will be directed to a new page with a number of different links and if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of that page, you will find the blogs!

I trust you all had a wonderful Spring break and a blessed Easter surrounded by family and friends. It is unbelievable that it is April already! This year is flying by and the next few months will be no different. April is shaping up to be full of fun activities and events and one of them is next week already!
Next week we are having a First Nations Day. Each of the K-3 teachers will be planning a special station for all of the K-3 children to rotate through. I am putting together a First Nations games station and could use your help. I am in need of a number of 3 foot long poles! Or one 14 foot pole, but who has that? I am thinking even broom handles would work if you have a handle that can come off of the cleaning brush. If you would be willing to lend me your broom handle (or you have a 14 foot pole kicking around that you won’t be using) could you please let me know and bring it in to school by next Monday for me?
