“Seek the Lord while He may be found.”
Isaiah 55:6
Welcome back to school! I trust you all had a good break, albeit different in that we didn’t have the ability to travel. The children all came back today with smiles on their faces and a general sense of excitement in returning. It was so good to see them!
Some reminders for you:
Pillows- please send pillows back for rest time
Popcorn words- return on Tuesdays
Memory Verse- due Wednesday
Wednesday the 3st we will also be having a class photo taken 🙂
Friday there will be no school, as well as the following Monday, so you can celebrate Easter with your family
Wow, we are soaring through our phonogram list this year! A number of students have learned each of the 36 phonograms that have been introduced so far this year and a number of others are just missing a few from our list. If your child has a couple of phonograms that they seem to be stuck on, I have sent home a little note indicating which phonograms they have yet to learn. If you are taking time to work with your child on phonograms, this should help guide you as to which phonograms they aren’t solid with yet.
Thank you for all your work with your kiddos. Keep it up!
Here are some things for you to know about in March:
**Tuesdays return popcorn word rings**
**Wednesdays memory verses are due**
March 9- please have your child bring something from home that can move (either by pushing or pulling) without the use of batteries or electricity. We are learning about Force and Motion and it will be fun to sort our items.
March 10- book character dress up day (if students don’t want to dress up like a character from a book, they can wear their uniforms)
March 13- last day of school before Spring Break
March 29- classes resume
