Kindie Korner Adventures

We will be going to the Chilliwack Corn Maze this Wednesday, rain or shine.  We are praying for sun!

The bus will be leaving the school at 9:10 and we hope to arrive at the corn maze by 9:30.  If you are planning on helping out, please meet us there as promptly as possible as I will have a few students assigned to your care.  You will need to pay upon arrival.

Please have your child dress for the weather.  They do not need to wear their uniforms that day.  As we have had some rain I expect the grounds to be fairly mucky.  Rain boots would be great!  Please send along another pair of shoes for your child to wear when we get back to school.

We will be leaving the corn maze at 11:30 to return to the school.

Now that we have settled into our Kindergarten routines we are going to add learning memory verses to our weekly plans.  Depending on the verse, students will have one and a half to two weeks to learn the verse.  Please practice at home.  We don’t have much “homework” in kindergarten but I do ask that you spend a few minutes each day practicing this verse with your child.  I will be asking students to say the following verse on October 11:

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God” 1 Thessalonians 5:18a
