Want to clean out your child’s toy bin before Christmas and bless others in town at the same time?

Here’s how you can do just that! Spend some time with your child going through their toys and send any good condition toys and games that they don’t play with anymore to school for our toy garage sale!

Toy collection is on now! All money raised will be going to Ann Davis Transition House right here in Chilliwack.

Students will have the chance to shop at the garage sale for Chrsitmas gifts for family and friends!

What a great way to reuse, recycle and bless others!

Last call for anyone needing childcare for our Spell to Write and Read Seminar next Wednesday afternoon. If you are planning on coming and have children that will need care during this time, please let me know before the end of the school day tomorrow via email. This seminar is parent-oriented and a great opportunity for you to learn how this program works.

On Wednesday, November 21st from 3:15-4:15pm, we will be having a parent seminar in the chapel to learn more about the unique qualities of our spelling programme. Childcare will be provided if you sign up with your classroom teacher before Friday, November 16th. All parents are welcome! I hope to see you there!

Because I will be off campus next week, please email your childcare requests.  I will be checking email while I am away.  If you could let me know names and ages of children needing childcare for the event, that would help tremendously with planning.

As a primary department we have been looking for ways for our children to give back and to serve their community, and this year we have decided that we will hold a Garage Sale! The Garage Sale will be held at the beginning of December, so between now and then we are looking for our primary families to donate any toys or games that they no longer want. So, as you think about cleaning up and clearing out your playroom before Christmas, consider what you can donate. Donations may be given to classroom teachers. Please only send items that work, and that are in good condition. The money we raise will be donated to the Ann Davis House.

We will have an extra week to practice this verse as there is no school on November 12, and I will be away that week.

I thought I should give you the heads up that I will not be at school on Friday as I have a small surgery procedure scheduled.

The class will be in GREAT hands with Mrs. Black who used to teach kindergarten here!

I will also be away from school for recovery during the following week but should be back and ready to go on the 19th.

I have a number of fun things lined up for the students to do with Mrs. Black and I know she has a bucket load of fun ideas of her own to add!

We will do everything we can to make things as smooth and easy as possible for everyone while I am away.

Just a reminder that we are to wear full dress uniforms tomorrow for class pictures (this includes a cardigan, not a hoodie).
