As we wrap up our unit on Families and transition to Christmas, one of the most fun things we do is talk about Christmas around the world. Does your family celebrate in some way that stems from a different country? We would love to learn about it! Perhaps you would like to come and share what traditions your family has that find their origins in other countries, or perhaps you aren’t able to come in but have some ideas to share with us, I would love to hear from you.
Could you please let me know if you have Christmas traditions from other countries, what they are, what country they originate from and if you would like to come in to tell us about them? We like to learn about Christmas around the world, but I like to incorporate the family traditions of the students in my classroom if possible.
