We had a lockdown drill today. This can always be a little scary but we practiced before the practice and the students did so well. In Kindergarten we focused on the story from a couple of years ago when a water buffalo wandered into the parking lot at Langley Christian School. A friend of mine teaches there and she said they had to go into lockdown. This seems so silly to the children almost, and far less scary than thinking that bad people might be here. The students had their ACTUAL lockdown drill in library and I have heard they did so well! You may want to ask them about it when they get home today.
