Kindie Korner Adventures

We are going to kick off the month of December with a week all about the Gingerbread Man!  We will be reading a number of different versions of the story, doing gingerbread math, science and more!  On Friday December 6 we would love to finish our week off by decorating some gingerbread men.  Would you be willing to help us? We will need:

one parent to bake (or buy) 22 gingerbread man cookies – undecorated

2 cans of white icing

an assortment of small candies to use as decorations

If you can supply some of the above mentioned items for our gingerbread party, please let me know as soon as possible.

Every Christmas season we have a food drive to help fill the Salvation Army’s shelves.  This year each class is getting a ‘top item’ to collect for the food bank. Our class is collecting boxes of Macaroni & Cheese.  Each box that comes in is worth 5 points.  Any other item for the food that comes in will  be worth one point.  If our school can collect 20,000 points then we will have a comfy clothing day after Christmas.  The class that brings in the top points will also get a prize.  Help us fill the food bank!  Items can begin coming in as early as today!
