Congratulations! Give yourselves a big pat on the back! You have made it through week 3! I just want to give each of you a big round of applause for all the great effort you are putting into educating and most especially, loving your kids through this crazy and difficult time. I am so pleased to see such creative, loving, supportive families gathering around these kindies.
Again, just a reminder, as we close out our week of learning, if there were activities you and your kiddos didn’t get to, that’s okay! Please don’t feel like you need to go back and complete things that didn’t get done. I am confident your children are involved in a variety of other learning opportunities at home that they may not even realize are educational!
As I look ahead to next week I am reminded by admin that next Friday is a professional day. If your regularly scheduled meeting with me is on Fridays and you would LIKE to reschedule for another day, please let me know. If I don’t hear from you I will assume you are okay with skipping that meeting.
I have also reduced the number of activities for next week to reflect that the week is one day shorter. I also kept activities like GoNoodle, phonograms, name printing practice and RAZ KIDS off of the list, although I am assuming that these things will still be done at some point in the week and would encourage your children to continue to do them. I would look at these activities as fairly routine activities that don’t necessarily need to be documented on your end, but should be happening. I hope that makes sense. If phonograms is something that I have been doing with your child during our weekly chats, I am more than happy to continue doing them.
