On October 26 our High school Foods class will be making and serving soup to us with ingredients grown in our very own Highroad Garden. Each class is being asked to supply the class with an ingredient not grown in the garden and our class is being asked to bring 12, 1 litre tetra paks of vegetable broth. These need to be brought in by October 22. Perhaps next time you are in the soup aisle at the grocery store, you could grab an extra to donate to the soup?
The foods class will be serving yummy soup to each class on the 26th, along with a bun and butter. If you have any concerns or questions about that, please let me know. Your child can choose not to partake in the soup, although last year almost all of the children LOVED it!
